摘要: TransLink, with the support of BC Ministry Transportation and Infrastructure P3 Canada, is reviewing potential for a high-capacity gondola connecting Burnaby Mountain to nearest SkyTrain rapid transit station. The mountain accounts 25,000 daily passenger trips home main campus Simon Fraser University, 18,200 students, growing in future, UniverCity sustainable community, residents increasing from 3,000 10,000. While only 2.7 kilometres station, it almost 300 metres higher elevation. Approximately 45 diesel buses arrive on peak hour but pass-ups are common service often disrupted winter weather.
