摘要: Coherence properties of the infrared thermal radiation from individual heated nanowires are investigated as a function nanowire dimensions. Interfering thermally induced with its image in nearby moveable mirror, well-defined fringes observed. From fringe visibility, coherence length emission narrowest was estimated to be at least 20μm, which is much larger than expected classical blackbody radiator. Significant increases and efficiency observed for smaller nanowires.
