摘要: Background: Significant advancements have occurred in surgical procedures and chemoradiation therapy for bladder preservation. Methods: This review addresses primary treatment options cancer, including an overview of bladder-sparing strategies. Results: Surgical series demonstrate that highly selected patients with cT2N0M0 urothelial cancers can be managed partial cystectomy bilateral pelvic lymphadenectomy. For to cT4aN0M0 cancers, neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by radical or maximal transurethral resection the tumor (TURBT) results equivalent survival rates. However, each option has a different impact on quality life. Current trials are evaluating novel approaches improve outcomes. Conclusions: Maximal TURBT demonstrated while preserving function majority patients. Future efforts will directed toward improving
