摘要: Aquilegia is a popular garden plant in the northern hemisphere as well native UK and continental Europe. In 2000, Semiaquilegia adoxoides was found infected by downy mildew Korea, since 2013 there have been several confirmed records of Peronospora sp. affecting UK, with symptomatic plants being observed years prior. Symptoms include yellow patches delineated veins on leaves affected plants, but systemically were also recorded, which are generally chlorotic show curled leaf margins. A greyish down conidiophores conidia lower side leaves. Preliminary molecular phylogenetic analyses could not identify causal agent at species level, revealed its affinities to other parasitic Ranunculales Saxifragaceae. To our knowledge, this first occurrence Aquilegia. Already, about 1 year after 3 reported symptoms, huge impact infested gardens nurseries has occurred. As oospore production pathogen can grow systemically, rendering seed transmission likely, should be classified high risk for Appropriate quarantine measures taken restrict from spreading.
