摘要: Hull stress monitoring systems can be effectively used to control hull girder stresses of large ocean going vessels. Although it is widely recognised that the accuracy greatly affected by thermal stress, its effects are yet fully understood and numerically quantified. Guidelines for imporving should jointly developed system suppliers classification societies. This paper examines temperature signals recorded from a container ship bulk carrier. Stress variation in response representative changes these vessels estimated using beam bending finite element methods. Comparison made between predicted measured results. A correction algorithm improving proposed validated some measurement data
