摘要: Lodging-resistant rice (Oryza sativa) cultivars usually show slow grain filling when nitrogen is applied in large amounts. This study investigated the possibility that a hormonal change may mediate effect of water deficit enhances whole plant senescence and speeds up filling. Two showing high lodging resistance were field grown with either normal or amount (HN) at heading. Well-watered water-stressed (WS) treatments imposed 9 days post anthesis to maturity. Results showed WS increased partitioning fixed (14)CO(2) into grains, accelerated rate but shortened period, whereas HN did opposite way. Cytokinin (zeatin + zeatin riboside) indole-3-acetic acid contents grains transiently early stage hastened their declines late stage. Gibberellins (GAs; GA(1) GA(4)) also enhanced, substantially reduced, its accumulation. Opposite GAs, abscisic (ABA) was low remarkably enhanced The peak values ABA significantly correlated maximum rates (r = 0.92**, P < 0.01) (14)C 0.95**, 0.01). Exogenously on pot-grown similar results as those by WS. suggest an altered balance stress during filling, especially decrease GAs increase ABA, remobilization prestored carbon accelerates rate.
