摘要: Abstract Objective To retrospectively evaluate technical success and long-term outcome of endovascular treatment in patients with iliofemoral deep vein thrombosis (DVT) due to iliac compression syndrome (IVCS). Materials methods Between March 2003 September 2006, 36 consecutive (26 women [72%], 10 men, mean age 50 ± 18 years) acute or chronic were evaluated for treatment. Stent patency was estimated by using the Kaplan–Meier method. Results Technical achieved 34 (94%). Six subacute had occlusion left common vein. Rethrombosis stents observed four patients. Primary secondary rates 85 94% at 1 year, 80 82% 4 years. Resolution symptoms 17 20 (85%) DVT, 16 (25%) DVT. Major complication seen one patient (3%). Conclusion Intimal changes are mostly nature even DVT IVCS. Endovascular stent placement has a high rate good Symptomatic improvement seems be better than
