摘要: The potential of ultra-high-pressure liquid chromatography (UHPLC) coupled to hybrid quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (QTOF-MS) for the screening and confirmation antibiotics in water samples is illustrated this paper. UHPLC presents several advantages over conventional as it generates narrow peaks (increasing peak height improving sensitivity) reduces chromatographic runs. Regarding QTOF-MS, its increased resolution, high sensitivity full-spectrum acquisition mode accuracy, both MS MS/MS modes, make technique ideal detection reliable organic contaminants environmental samples. After a solid-phase extraction using Oasis HLB cartridges, UHPLC-QTOF-MS has been applied work types (surface influent effluent wastewaters). Several were found samples, such ofloxacin, ciprofloxacin, clarythromycin or erythromycin, among others. Moreover, full spectrum data provided by TOF-MS enabled searching many other pharmaceuticals that could be present "post-target" way. This approach allowed paracetamol, omeprazole codeine, UPLC-QTOF-MS shown an attractive efficient hyphenated rapid with very little sample handling.
