摘要: In northwestern Argentina (NWA), pepper crops are threatened by the emergence of begomoviruses due to spread its vector, Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius). The genus Begomovirus includes pathogens that can have a monopartite or bipartite genome and occasionally associated with sub-viral particles called satellites. This study characterized diversity begomovirus alphasatellite species infecting in NWA using metagenomic approach. Using RCA-NGS (rolling circle amplification-next generation sequencing), 19 full-length genomes (DNA-A DNA-B) one were assembled. ecogenomic approach revealed six single infections: soybean blistering mosaic virus (SbBMV), tomato yellow spot (ToYSV), vein streak (ToYVSV), dwarf leaf (ToDfLV), sida golden Brazil (SiGMBRV), new proposed species, named (PepBLV). SbBMV was most frequently detected followed ToYSV. Moreover, ToYSV, 2 (ToYSA-2), reported for first time Argentina. For Americas, this report an found crop (pepper) weed (Leonurus japonicus). We also intra-species inter-species recombination.
