摘要: Abstract Three National Institute of Mental Health-funded 3-day workshops, held in 1981-1982, were offered to foster research among selected child psychiatry trainees. The workshops provided informal but intensive discussions with senior investigators the field. A follow-up 30 months after revealed that almost one half trainees had succeeded completing formal training or apprenticeship and 16 34 participants actively involved at least 1 day a week. Publications by increased significantly over time. appeared provide important encouragement psychiatrists who wished pursue career.
