摘要: Service contracts have emerged as an important instrument to secure a long-term relationship between carriers in the container shipping industry and shippers requiring scheduled services covering global market. This contract, entered into largely on individual confidential basis, continues enjoy anti-trust immunity under current United States European Union regulations. It will continue be place even after EC Council Regulation 4056/86 is repealed October 2008 although it may operate modified way because of absence common external conference tariff. article examines implications this international supply chain explores its future role defining efficiencies trade flows.
