摘要: Women experience changes in headache pattern relation to their reproductive cycles. Menarche, menses, pregnancy, menopause and the use of exogenous oestrogen-containing medications frequently alter baseline patterns. Changing patterns women may be linked alterations levels sex hormones. Sex hormones directly influence by affecting activity a variety neurochemicals important for headache, including serotonin (5HT). Treating include therapies that modify or neurochemicals.
