Correlations between habitual physical activity and self-perceived functional fitness, self-sufficiency fitness and health among men over 60 years old

摘要: Purpose. The study examined whether increased levels of habitual physical activity (HPA) in men over 60, expressed by the volume energy expenditure relation to PA, is significantly related a higher self-assessment functional fitness, selfdependency fitness and health. Methods. One hundred sixty six 60 (60–88 years age) living Poznan (a large city Poland) participated study. In order measure actual HPA, caltrac accelerometer was used. results were analysed according weekly (PA-EE) values PA-EE per kilogram body weight (PA-EE/kg). A questionnaire used estimate self-perceived self-sufficiency Results. noted PA-EE/kg who positively perceived their Conclusions. Increasing range everyday activities one potential directions for development health prophylaxis.
