摘要: Abstract A coupled ocean-atmosphere general circulation model has been developed for TOGA related problems. The consists of an ocean the tropical Pacific and a global low-order spectral atmosphere model. two models interact via wind stress sea surface temperature. In order to avoid climate drift within model, flux correction method is applied. Experiments were performed by introducing westerly burst over western equatorial one month. Thereafter, turned off response initial disturbance investigated. results are compared with run same in uncoupled mode. It shown that coupling leads significant increase duration anomalous conditions ocean. SST anomalies persist about 12 months run, while they have already disappeared after 4 case. ...
