摘要: This work deals with the study of pollen 21 species from family Gesneriaceae found in six genera, divided into three tribes: Beslerieae tribe - Besleria L. (4 spp.) Episcieae Codonanthe (Mart.) Hanst. (3 Nematanthus Schrad. (5 spp); Sinningieae Paliavana Vand. (1 sp.), Sinningia Nees (6 and Vanhouttea Lem. (2 spp.), occurring Rio de Janeiro state, Brazil. We aim to characterize expand morphological data family, at general or specific level, thus contributing a more precise delimitation taxa. The grains were acetolysed, measured, described illustrated using light microscopy. To see details surface opening, non-acetolysed examined scanning electron microscope (SEM). studied ranged small medium, suboblate prolate; they had colpores colpes number openings was constant for all (3-aperture). Ornamentation sexine scabrous perforated, rugulate, microrreticulate reticulated. results showed that morphology is well defined studied; it varied within between tribes can be used identify taxa maintains eurypalynological character Gesneriaceae.
