摘要: This study investigated the possibility of using Bmode and M-mode ultrasonography to differentiate between visceral somatic swallowing patterns. Tongue movements during empty by 11 volunteers with a pattern were traced in B-mode ultrasound imaging before after successful myofunctional therapy. Thirteen subjects served as control group. We examined compared sequences images at least six each subject’s processes for reproducible characteristics parameters. observed wide intraindividual variability, making interindividual comparison difficult or meaningless. identified no qualitative characteristic features that could be designated solely physiological movements. There was obvious reproducibility sonogram act. Given experimental set-up we used (without submandibular cushioning pad), it not possible individual phases, is, initial, transporting, returning on based trace points, described literature. determined amplitude velocity vertical tongue movement well total duration images. These parameters revealed intra- variability. No differences established method selected this study. The measured are suitable differentiating swallowing.
