摘要: Abstract Specimens of the Palearctic rove beetle Quedius cruentus have been collected in seven northeastern states (Michigan, Ohio, New York, Jersey, Massachusetts, Maine, Pennsylvania) and one eastern Canadian province (Quebec) from 2001 to present as a result exotic bark surveillance projects. Earliest specimen records, based on collections date back early 1980s. The Quebec records are first for this immigrant species Canada. All locality listed mapped. Recognition features described illustrated, summary its known biology is provided.
