摘要: The family Burseraceae is considered to contain about 700 species comprised in 18 genera. Their resiniferous trees and shrubs usually figures prominently the ethnobotany of regions where it occurs, given that such a property has led use this since ancient times for their aromatic properties many medicinal applications. Although distributed throughout tropical subtropical world, majority scientific available information limited Asiatic African genera, as Commiphora (myrrh), Canarium (elemi incense) Boswellia (frankincense), or genus Bursera (linaloe), occurring Mexico.
