摘要: This paper presents a robust and simple metric approach named Force Work Induced Metric (FWIM) according to Physical model. A novel image local descriptor based on FWIM (FWIM-LD) is then introduced for face verification. FWIM-LD captures the structure information between central pixel its neighbors effectively. PCA thus used obtain low-dimensional significant features. Subsequently, we employ binary-like representation method further improve verification rate. Experimental results challenging benchmark "Labeled Faces in Wild" (LFW) dataset demonstrate that proposed achieves better performance than state-of-the-art algorithms.
