摘要: The coherent muon-electron conversion rate in anomalous neutrinoless muon capture by nuclei is calculated terms of phenomenological coupling constants defined effective Hamiltonian densities. possibilities muon-number violation occurring through lepton mixing, muon-number-violating gauge couplings, or scalar-Higgs-boson exchange are considered. variation the with atomic number $Z$ discussed for different values constants. present results compared a previous approximate formula given Weinberg and Feinberg. following limits on found: $|{g}_{V}^{(0)}|l{10}^{\ensuremath{-}6}$ $|{g}_{V}^{(1)}|l2.9\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$, $|{g}_{S}^{(0)}|l{10}^{\ensuremath{-}6}$ $|{g}_{S}^{(1)}|l3.2\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$.
