摘要: Summary Background & aims Although initial fluid resuscitation in sepsis is critical for the treatment of tissue hypoperfusion, little evidence supports distribution infused patients with sepsis. This study was designed to assess body water using bioelectrical impedance analysis and correlate trend during prognosis Methods A prospective a single emergency department performed, adult suspected having were enrolled. Multi-frequency direct segmental (InBody S10, InBody) measuring total (TBW), intracellular (ICW), extracellular (ECW) applied at three periods: before, immediately after, 1 hour after treatment. Survival data 28 days obtained. Results Forty-two enrolled this study. Overall, ratios TBW, ICW, ECW weight increased throughout except ratio ICW non-survivors. While TBW (ECW/TBW) (ICW/TBW) survivors remained stable over period, ECW/TBW corresponding decline ICW/TBW non-survivors (p = 0.0085 p = 0.0034 between times groups, respectively) such that significantly different loading period (p = 0.0120 p = 0.0085, respectively). contrast pattern equivalent trunk but not other extremities. Conclusions During resuscitation, decrease compared survivors, which suggests results dehydration edema
