摘要: The physiological functions of the urinary bladder are to store and periodically expel urine. These tasks facilitated by contraction relaxation smooth muscle (UBSM), also known as detrusor muscle, which comprises wall. large-conductance voltage- Ca2+-activated K+ (BK, BKCa, MaxiK, Slo1, or KCa1.1) channel is highly expressed in UBSM arguably most important physiologically relevant that regulates function. Its significance arises from fact BK only activated increases both voltage intracellular Ca2+. channels control excitability contractility maintaining resting membrane potential shaping repolarization phase spontaneous action potentials determine rhythmic contractility.
