摘要: The sensitivity of precipitation-strengthened A286 austenitic stainless steel to stress corrosion cracking was studied by means slow-strain-rate tests. First, alloy cold working low cycle fatigue (LCF) investigated. Fatigue tests under plastic strain control were performed at different levels (Δep/2 = 0.2%, 0.5%, 0.8% and 2%) establish correlations between softening the deformation microstructure resulting from LCF Deformed microstructures identified through TEM investigations. interaction oxidation localized bands also it resulted that are not preferential oxide growth channels. pre-cycling did modify its behaviour. However, intergranular in subsurface layer formed after exposure PWR primary water shown.
