Preparation and electrochemical properties of coke powder activated carbon based electrode materials

摘要: Coke powder activated carbons (CPACs) were prepared using coke as raw materials. The as-prepared CPACs characterized by energy dispersive spectrometer, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and diffraction. BET surface area porous properties of evaluated nitrogen adsorption at 77 K. optimal preparation conditions for optimized according to the results a series electrochemical performance measurements electrode in 2 mol L−1 electrolyte solution KOH. CPACs, which under conditions, exhibit 285.6 m2 g−1, pore volume 0.112 m3 g−1, statistical average diameter 10 nm, ratios sum micro meso total about 80.4 %, respectively. measurement show that exhibits specific capacitance 211 F g−1. Moreover, it also good stability with reaches up 156 F g−1 over consecutive 1,000 cycle numbers.
