摘要: A study on the seasonal variation in population structure of seven (7) ungulate species, African buffalo (Syncerus caffer), eland (Tragelaphus oryx), giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis), oryx (Oryx gazella), sable (Hippotragus niger), roan antelope equinus) and greater kudu strepsiceros) was carried out using field census approach during wet (February– April) dry (July–September) season, a water hole (September) at waterholes Waterberg National Park, Namibia. Male warthog, black rhino average comprised about 40 % population, whereas male sable, antelope, 30 population. white 20 sex more than 50 Age dominated by adults, with 60 total rhino, 70 kudu, roan, buffalo, average. Oryx had highest number only 10 juveniles. Larger herds were observed season smaller season. Animals abundantly three vegetation types (Terminalia sericea — Melhania acuminata vegetation, Terminalia Thesium megalocarpum, Blepharis integrifolia), lower abundances rock-inhabiting Peltophorum africanum both seasons.
