摘要: Background: Lung cancer is one of the main human health threats. Survival lung patients depends on timely detection and diagnosis. Among genetic irregularities that control development progression, there are microRNAs (miRNAs). This study aimed to assess plasma level circulating miRNA-17 miRNA-222 as non-invasive markers in non-small-cell (NSCLC) patients. Patients methods: A total 40 with NSCLC 20 healthy controls who were matched terms age sex patient group included this case-control study.. Estimation expression profiles was done using quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR). The relationship between both their clinicopathological features also determined. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis evaluate role these diagnosis follow-up. Results: MiRNA-17 levels significantly upregulated compared (48.32±12.35 vs 1.16±0.19 34.53±3.1 1.22±0.14) (P=0.000). Plasma increased, decreased across different stages disease; however, differences d not statistically significant (P=0.4, P=0.5, respectively). higher metastasis , but lower without metastasis. We found no difference regard(P=0.4 P=0.3, ROC showed sensi¬tivity specificity 77.78% 87.50% 50% 88.89%. Conclusion: can be considered biomarkers for early carcinogenesis NSCLC, hence providing a basis novel therapeutic approaches.
