摘要: Investigated the general hypothesis that assessment of control perceptions as a factor in depression should involve measurement both generalized expectancies and currently experienced control. Sixty-two college students completed Rotter I-E scale, Tiffany Experienced Control Scale (E-C) Beck Depression inventory (BDI). Results indicated E-C dimensions over internal (OI) external (OE) forces interacted with scores predicting depression. In each case, internals high reported less than low externals. Implications for use planning evaluating treatment depressives are discussed, suggestions future research on utility scale presented.
