摘要: There is a general need for additional selectable marker genes plant transformation. Only few have been reported in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) transformation experiments, some of which are under patent restriction or other disadvantages. A new gene was identified can be used to select resistant callus tissue culture and regenerate transgenic plants. from the soil fungus Myrothecium verrucaria (Albertini & Schwein.) Ditmar:Fr., coding enzyme cyanamide hydratase converts into urea, previously described. In our conferred resistance at level therefore could transformants. At whole level, progeny transformed plants showed cyanamide, whereas sensitive expressed lethal necrosis yellowing when applied. This has several potential advantages compared with genes. Transformed selected may able convert useful nitrogen compound (fertilizer). The introduced value-added traits might also applicable systems.
