Use of the Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI) in Neuropsychological Testing of Psychiatric Outpatients

摘要: The relationship between clinical scales of the Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI) and neuropsychological test results was investigated in a sample psychiatric outpatients. Bivariate correlations showed only Somatic Complaints scale PAI to be related Memory subscales Repeatable Battery for Neuropsychological Status (RBANS). Better performance on Trails A negatively (SOM), Anxiety (ANX), Depression (DEP), Borderline Features (BOR) PAI. No combination results, no could discriminate upper- lower-scoring groups RBANS Delayed or Total Index scores. In addition, status found independent all but SOM this study provide additional evidence that measures unique essentially nonoverlapping data.
