摘要: The authors investigated the relationship of white-coat hypertension (WCH) with subclinical organ damage and potential relevant mechanisms. A total 386 untreated patients were enrolled divided into 204 WCH 183 normotension. Flow-mediated dilation (FMD), pulse wave velocity (PWV), intima-media thickness, left ventricular mass index (LVMI), cystatin C levels measured. All tests two-sided, a P value <.05 was considered statistically significant. group exhibited higher LVMI PWV values, decreased E/A ratio FMD increased prevalence for hypertrophy compared controls (P<.001 all). Cystatin significantly in (P=.035) positively associated (P<.05 both). presence is more pronounced may play significant role therefore warrants further investigation.
