摘要: Effective techniques of combat psychotherapy have been evolved through experiences gained in World War I, II, and the Korean campaign. They include following basic principles: (1) location or level where treatment is performed should be as near battlefront group practicable, preferably at battalion aid station; (2) best results are obtained by methods that combine simplicity brevity; repression suppressive more effective than uncovering procedures; (3) psychiatric facilities function effectively if all assigned personnel make consistent efforts to create a therapeutic atmosphere reflects positive motivation; (4) success therapy largely determined degree with which psychiatrist identifies needs group, opposed his participation desires individual.
