摘要: Previous research suggests that potato cultivars offer little aphid resistance. However, few studies have measured the effects of host cultivar on age dependent life table statistics or related these measures to field performance. In this study, laboratory and assessed four commercial (Anya, Desiree, Pink Fir Apple, Sante) for resistance Myzuspersicae. Cultivars were found show considerable differences in laboratory, intrinsic rate increase (rm) effective fecundity M. persicae was lowest cv. Anya highest Desiree. Aphids also took longer develop adults smaller size compared with Field over two seasons Persicae infestations started earlier Desiree than greatest weekly counts recorded former.
