摘要: Information systems, and specifically decision making support present information to users in a variety of modes--raw data, tables, graphs, others. Rarely, if ever, does an system narrative or story-based format. The last three decades have seen research articles that presented argument, example, reference what can be termed narrative-based systems (NBIS). This chapter traces this history as they contribute the development NBIS. Previous work has come from multiple disciplines streams within Systems. To date, there been very little done area, it is hypothesized reason part due multi-disciplinary approach lack unified effort. In order further efforts area research, conceptual model developed. paper concludes with areas for future research.
