Rapid lactate oxidase‐based assay for lactate content in milk to ascertain its hygienic quality

摘要: A rapid method for qualitative and quantitative assaying of l-lactate in milk is described. The based on oxidation lactate by oxidase with the simultaneous formation H2O2 which subsequently oxidises 2, 4, 6-tribromo 3-hydroxy benzoic acid (TBHBA) presence peroxidase. Oxidised TBHBA then reacts 4-amino antipyrine to obtain magenta colour (λmax = 523 nm). In assay, change becomes visible raw samples spiked 300 mg lactate/L. absorbance increases linearly up 1000 mg/L. can be used assessment hygienic quality milk.
