摘要: In order to assess the importance of maternal thermal cues in controlling acute USV responses rat pups contact with her body (the comfort response) and separation from her, we drastically altered temperature by inducing severe hypothermia so that rectal flank temperatures averaged more than 20°C below normal 10°C ambient levels during testing. Isolated 12- 13-day-old showed reductions when these cold dams were presented brisk accelerations removed test chamber. These closely resembled those other tested warm (36°C) anesthetized dams. No significant differences found pups' For separation, prior properties factors modulate relative intensity marked increase elicited this event © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
