摘要: Riparian ecosystems in the south-western United States have undergone extensive physical and biological changes, due, part, to alteration of natural flow regimes suppression fluvial processes. Many riparian ecosystem restoration projects are achieving success because they recognize importance restoring hydrologic regime. In other words, these flows water sediment sufficient quantities with appropriate temporal spatial patterns. Other proceeded without recognition need incorporate environmental stream requirements into management plans. To increase rate restoration, this paper describes some changes that occurred within southwestern States, reviews role structuring plant communities, assesses various ways which communities can be restored by naturalizing ecological
