摘要: Neuroimaging studies have implicated the left supramarginal gyrus in short-term auditory memory processing, including for pitch. The present study investigated causal role of pitch by comparing effects cathodal transcranial direct current stimulation when applied over or right with sham stimulation. Only had a detrimental effect on pitch-memory performance 11 adult participants. These results provide support important information, and they further demonstrate potential to modulate functional contribution brain area particular cognitive process.
