摘要: In the context of development mobile map applications with capabilities for generalization and abstraction, we propose a methodology content exploration that uses zooming as technique to change degree abstraction independently scale. We concentrate on „foreground data‖ (rather than base map, or background), more precisely POI data thus point generalisation. Content provides user capability amount granularity foreground information presented, while keeping geometric scale same. allows overriding effects ‗standard‘ generalisation, focusing optimised representation aid seeking task user. It is complementary Three cases operations are distinguished: two apply changes third case data. The paper defines these proposes technical solutions each these, illustrating them examples from research prototype.
