摘要: This contribution discusses current issues involved in the numerical simulation of large scale industrial forming processes that employ polymer coated steel sheet. The need for rigorous consideration both theoretical and algorithmic is emphasized, particularly relation to computational treatment finite strain deformation sheet presence internal degradation. Other relevant effective problem, including modelling frictional contact between work piece tools, low order element technology capable dealing with plastic incompressibility thermo mechanical coupling, are also addressed. suitability overall approach illustrated by solution an industrially problem.
