摘要: Using a three-year panel data set of rural households in the Tigray region northern Ethiopia, we examine dynamics poverty and impact two intervention measures—the food for work (FFW) security package (FSP) programs—upon by disaggregating total into its transient chronic components. Poverty is predominantly chronic. Results matching estimators indicate that FSP program has significant negative effect on poverty, but not poverty. Households involved have average lower levels than program. The FFW other hand does significantly influence any three forms Tertile regressions, however, reveal benefits richest middle tertiles.
