摘要: The Fontan procedure is now considered the final common pathway for patients with anatomical or functional single ventricle. These initially have their systemic and pulmonary circulations in parallel, supported by one ventricular chamber. ultimate goal this to separate two circulations, prevent mixing of venous arterial blood, provide adequate tissue oxygenation. objective article review its various modifications refinements since introduction clinical practice 1971, Baudet.
