摘要: This paper describes an investigation into moisture levels in straw bale walls used to clad a newly constructed building. The content was monitored up 10 months after the building handed over. sensors for this purpose were readily available, low cost and easily installed. fluctuate during first 4 following installation of instrumentation, followed by period greater stability where it is believed that acts as buffer, managing humidity within contributing healthier internal environment. ongoing study makes contribution towards raising confidence use bales carbon material mainstream construction.
