摘要: The stability of primary spacing in cellular and dendritic arrays has been examined through critical directional solidification studies the succinonitrile-acetone system. existence a range established for steady-state growth under given experimental conditions, within this confirmed velocity change experiments. Different mechanisms that are operative unstable regime have quantitatively examined. Besides cell or dendrite creation elimination, new mechanism changes was also identified which adjustment occurred lateral motion cells dendrites. A theoretical model, based on mass balance constraint, is developed to correlate with processing results compared data.
