摘要: The key objective of this study was to investigate the attenuation mechanisms seven N-nitrosamine compounds at environmental concentrations and under conditions relevant groundwater recharge operations. used a combination controlled laboratory-scale soil-column experiments monitoring full-scale river-bank filtration facility. Findings column suggest that N-nitrosodimethylamine six other N-nitrosamines (N-nitrosodiethylamine, N-nitrosomethylethylamine, N-nitroso-n-propylamine, N-nitrosodi-n-butylamine, N-nitrosopiperidine, N-nitrosopyrrolidine) are biodegradable oxic anoxic oxidation-reduction conditions. Half lives determined in for targeted varied between 1.3 7 days, which will ensure removal below detection limits (< 2 ng/L) within short travel times systems. complete requires presence an adapted biocommunity, be established over several weeks months.
