摘要: This dissertation encompasses three essays in the field of Industrial Organization. The first paper asks policy relevant question how pay-for-delay settlements pharmaceutical industry should be regulated order to maximize consumer welfare. second examines welfare effects exclusive contracts under consideration possibility contract breach and imperfect downstream competition within a theoretical model. third investigates profitability degree price discrimination is affected by consumers’ fairness preferences an experimental study. results experiment are explained
