摘要: Lymphocyte function-associated antigen 1 (LFA-1) is a leukocyte cell surface glycoprotein that promotes intercellular adhesion in immunological and inflammatory reactions. It an alpha beta complex structurally related to receptors for extracellular matrix components, thus belongs the integrin family. ICAM-1 (intercellular molecule-1) distinct glycoprotein. Its broad distribution, regulated expression inflammation, involvement LFA-1-dependent cell-cell have suggested may be ligand LFA-1. We purified incorporated it into artificial supported lipid membranes. LFA-1+ but not LFA-1- cells bound membranes, binding could specifically inhibited by anti-ICAM-1 treatment of membranes or anti-LFA-1 cells. The required metabolic energy production, intact cytoskeleton, presence Mg2+ was temperature dependent, characteristics ICAM-1-dependent adhesion.
