摘要: The rate of crime incidents is increasing in developing countries mainly due to the unequal distribution wealth and societal status. present study attempts identify explore spatial variation Thiruvananthapuram city for a period from 2010 2014. improved computer based technologies like GIS availability Geographic data make it possible law enforcement agencies create analytical maps various analysis hotspot area .The Information System helpful identification through auto correlation, interpolation. Moran's I test statistic correlation has been done prior GetisOrd Gi* find out clustering pattern as well outliers data. uses vectors locations statistically significant hotspots cold spots IDW interpolation method used better visualization. These methods are applied on Kerala state Murder, Robbery, Snatching Theft.
