摘要: Metal foam is a porous or cellular structure material and representative property very high porosity. Foamed materials have special properties such as sound, vibration, energy impact absorption capacity. Especially this are widely used for safety demands of architecture, auto aircraft industry. But metal need to increased its compression strength hardness. This study were researched about Al-Si alloy foams with variation amount Si contents their fabrication porosity, cell structure, microstructure mechanical properties. The result that the range pore size 2~4 , porosity 88%, yield 1.8MPa, strain ratio 60~70% vickers hardness 33.1~50.6.
