摘要: We find that partially different sets of gene functions are required for the production kinds mutations induced by 60Co gamma rays in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. This observation is very similar to others made previously with respect UV mutagenesis (LAWRENCE and CHRISTENSEN 1978a,b, 1979) confirms conclusion such distinctive patterns genetic control reflect properties test alleles their locations, rather than lesions revert them. The data also support model mutagenic repair outlined first paper this series (McKee LAWRENCE 1979), which mutations, formation at sites induction mutagens.
