摘要: Palaeolama was a relatively rare camelid in North America during the Pleistocene. Here we report first occurrence of P. mirifica Late Pleistocene Puebla, central Mexico. This is southernmost record America, and fills geographic gap with species Costa Rica. The fossil-bearing unit composed silt, fine sand, scarce pebbles. partially correlative alluvial sequence Axamilpa, considered to be MIS 2 – 3 age. Isotopic data Mesowear III values indicate that from Barranca Xocoa an intermediate feeder.
